I don’t know how frequently high school football teams pull out trick plays. I mean, sure, you want to win every game pretty badly, but let’s face it, you’re not making millions of dollars for yourself or the school, so do you really need to be practicing trick plays under any circumstances? Is it really necessary to ever use a trick play in a high-school football game that doesn’t take place in Odessa, TX?
Answer: Yes. I don’t care about the significance of the game, but it’s really fun to watch everybody on the other team look so confused, and even more fun to know that they were probably whining incesantly about the play after the game for weeks on end.
