Everyone has to remember the immortal Keith Closs, right? He’s a lanky 7′3″ center who once played for the L.A. Clippers sometime around 2000-2001. Actually, no NBA fans probably remember him at all for his on-the-court abilities, as the most famous accomplishment he ever had was probably getting thunderously dunked on by Antonio Daniels.
But unfortunately for Keith, the gangs in L.A. seem to know who he is all too well. In fact, they know him to the point that they’re willing to pull him out of a car and beat the crap out of him in front of a busy L.A. intersection. Believe it or not, Keith manages to hold his own pretty well in the midst of getting beat down, which is especially impressive considering he has the girth of Calista Flockhart. Anyway, here’s the video:
I also love that somehow Death Row Records orchestrated the production of this video. Suge Knight being involved in the beat-down of any pseudo-celebrity is about as shocking as finding out Vince McMahon wasn’t really dead. Vintage Death Row. I can’t believe that record label isn’t still churning out hits.
