C’mon Mark, you can watch free basketball forever and cougar-hunt at will; don’t resort to being the biggest crybaby loser ever…
Usually, I support most of Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban’s actions. I think it’s pretty well-documented that the dude is pretty much just your average fan who happened to make billions of dollars by getting involved in that silly internet fad when Al Gore first got it to explode onto the scene and then used those billions to buy his favorite NBA team.
But I can’t say I support big Mark on his recent actions in filing a legal counterclaim against Don Nelson in their arbitration suit, alleging that Nelson used insider knowledge of the Mavericks’ team to defeat them in the playoffs. Good God, what a crybaby. Cuban is more sore about losing to Nellie and the Warriors than Paris Hilton is after a night with…wait, I’m pretty sure Paris Hilton’s not going to be sore from sex unless she starts engaging in acts of bestiality. But you get the point - Cuban is way too bitter about losing to Golden State.
And I’m sure Nelson’s inner-knowledge of the Mavericks’ system really helped him out in winning that series. I really like the way Golden State exploited Michael Finley, Steve Nash, Keith Van Horn, Marquis Daniels, Darrel Armstrong, Shawn Bradley, and Alan Henderson in that series. That was definitely the key to winning. Oh, wait, that’s over half of the 2004-2005 roster (the last year Nellie was in Big D, and he left halfway through that season) that no longer plays for the Mavericks.
Someone get Mark Cuban some ‘whine’ with his cheese please (and the fact that I actually used that expression makes me worse than Mark Cuban, but at least I’m not a billionaire crybaby).
