Bruiser’s Bet: San Diego Will Take Care of the Orioles Once Again Tonight

Petco Park, where all pets are welcome

Last night Jake Peavy had another solid start as predicted and we cashed in as the Padres decimated the Orioles. That moves my record to 163-118-2 over my last 283. Today we look to the Padres again to get the job done over the Orioles.

Today I look at the Match-Up between the Baltimore Orioles and the San Diego Padres

1. Since Being Called up to the Big Leagues.
Justin Germano broke into the majors with the Padres in 2004 and appeared in two games for Cincinnati last season, but is still classified as a rookie. The right-hander is 5-0 in seven starts since being promoted from Triple-A Portland on May 8 to replace then-injured Clay Hensley. Germano looks to keep up the solid start and gets the Pades another win.

2. Runs, Runs, Runs.
The Padres have scored 23 runs in their last two games after scoring one in each of their previous two contests. Runs should come easy for the Padres again tonight as they face the streaking Orioles.

Bruiser is the Padres (-130) over the Orioles
