2-1 my last day and 8-2 overall in my last 10. Today looks to be another profitable game with numerous MLB match-ups catching my eye. Break out the wallets and keep riding the wave friends.
Tigers -110 at Phillies
Tigers -110 eh? Jamie Moyer takes the hill today for Philly, and is old enough to be his pitching counterparts father. Andrew Miller was called up for Detroit to fill in for Nate Robertson who was suffering from a “tired arm.” Miller is a young stud and the Tigers know he is key component in the Tigers future. They look for him to battle the likes of Bonderman and Verlander over who will be the ace of this staff for the next couple years. Jamie Moyer has been hit pretty hard this year and hasn’t really had the same success this year as he did in Seattle for so many years. Detroit absolutely pounded the Phillies pitching last night, and I’m thinking that will continue. The bottom of Tigers lineup is starting to hit, and when they are behind the hottest player in the league (Magglio Ordonez) and other probable all-stars like Placido Polanco and Pudge Rodriguez, that spells trouble for opposing staffs. Miller is a fearless young pup, so don’t expect him to back down from guys like Rollins and Howard tonight. In a battle of the bats, the Tigers will prevail.
