VIDEO: Fox Sportscasters Have Slightly Less Comrodory Than The Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword

June 14th, 2007 · No Comments

Check out this clip from last year’s Ohio State-Michigan football game when the teams were ranked number one and number two in the country, respectively. Fox Sports field reporter Steve Brown was on-hand to discuss Bo Schembecler’s then recent passing, as well as to give updates on the game, when some nappy-looking female OSU fan gets in the picture and, in an Icehoused induced yell, decides to make sure everyone watching knows where her allegiance lies.

Steve Brown also decides to set the new bar for how short of a leash reporters must have with respect to dealing with drunken female fans who look like a cross between Molly Ringwold and Miss Piggy (pause the video 16 seconds in to see it).

By the way, what’s with this Julie chick who’s the anchor selling out her field reporter Steve Brown with that YouTube comment? Way to put your co-worker on the spot like that, I’m sure he loved it. Clearly the Fox news scene doesn’t have the same degree of brotherhood and unity that that crazy Brotherhood group protecting the Holy Grail in Indiana Jones had, although I will say I didn’t feel as bad for Brown when he justified his actions under the guise of being fed-up with drunkards. Seriously, go grab a Labatt Nordiq and chill out, Steve.
