Berkman will be missed tonight
Last night the Cavs played strong but the Spurs just are to much for them to take. I feel a bit slighted as Žydrūnas Ilgauskas hit a shot at the end of the game I thought was in time but they said it didn’t count. But the NBA does not care about the betting world so they just let it go. That moves my record to 161-114-2 over my last 277 games. Tonight I see a great value in the A’s so let’s get to it.
Today I look at the Match-Up between the Oakland A’s and the Houston Astros
1. No Berkman.
Lance Berkman will not be in the Astros’ lineup again tonight. The first baseman dropped his appeal of a two-game suspension yesterday and served the first game last night. Berkman was disciplined for coming back onto the field after already being tossed from a contest last week against the Colorado Rockies. Without Berkman this will be a tough mountain to climb.
2. Not Many Runs Scored.
Oakland has given up only 11 runs in its last seven games. I like to take a team that has had good pitching lately and tonight should be no different. Take the A’s tonight behind Joe Blanton.
Bruiser is taking the A’s (+105) over the Astros
Bruiser’s Other Bets
“Great pitchers in all these games that should get the job done.”
