You will all witness the travels that LeBron will get away with.
4-1 on my last day of picks I am coming off a great MLB rebound day where I went a solid 4-1. Plenty of cash was recouped to make up for my previous weeks futility in picking MLB games. Today I’m back with my pick for game 1 of the NBA Finals. I’ll try to throw in some MLB action as well to spice things up.
Spurs -7.5 vs. Cavs
Literally, I could write a book previewing this game and/or the series, but lucky for you I won’t. Plain and simple, I like the Spurs in 5…maybe 6…but probably 5. Tonight will (should) be all Spurs. Besides LeBron vs. Bowen, I think the Spurs win every other match-up in this series. The Spurs have 17 or so rings to the Cavs 0. Mike Brown is garbage compared to Pop’, the Spurs have a better bench, home court advantage, and did I mention Finals experience? Maybe the fans in Cleveland will be wayyy more jacked up being that the city could grab it’s first title in 60 some odd years, but won’t it be tough down 2-0? The Spurs are just like the Pistons minus the lackadaisical attitude and inefficiency from time to time, which is why they are plus 2 rings. LeBron will be overwhelmed by the big stage tonight and will be the comforts of the “Q”. Tony Parker should go for about 30 with Eric Snow or Daniel Gibson guarding him. Unless the either LeBron has another game like game 5 versus the Pistons, or the Cavs bench can steal one, this series could be over before anybody can even say they “Witnessed” it.
Take the Spurs -7.5
What else I bet on today…
- Phillies +110 at Mets: Take Phillies
“Cole Hamels has been lights out while the Mets bats have struggled lately.“ - Texas Rangers O/U 5: Take the Over
“The Rangers couldn’t score last night because Justin Verlander was on fire. Tonight Mike Maroth will give them a little something more their pace.“
